3M is seeking Production Operators for the Personal Safety Division located in Aberdeen, SD. The Aberdeen plant employs 650 employees and serves 15 divisions within 3M such as; Automotive, Construction Home and Improvement Markets, Personal Safety, and more. The Aberdeen plant is a state-of-art, climate controlled and safe large manufacturing center of excellence that make products such as specialty tapes, furnace filters, respirators, and other products.

As a Production Operator a typical day might include the following:
• Operating automated production converting, assembly and packaging equipment in a safe, effective and efficient manner
• Monitoring processes, order inputs, load semi-finished materials inspect materials, and perform quality inspections to release product
• Monitoring other operations and work cooperatively with others
• Using hand and power tools• Using computers as needed to run process operation

This position will require:
Working on holidays as needed
Working fixed or rotating shifts
