The person hired for the position of Warehouse Analyst will be responsible for the scheduling of transportation out of the plant, RDR Improvement (receiving discrepancy reporting) and warehouse flow improvements. This position involves partnering with various plant and division personnel and continuously working to improve the planning and logistics process. This role will also be responsible for identifying and implementing ways to improve warehouse utilization, shipping accuracy, and material flow in the efficiency to achieve measurable results.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Develop and execute plans to ensure on time delivery of orders out of the plant.
Develops and maintains operating rhythms to ensure proper warehouse material flow
Provides a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making regarding warehouse utilization and other warehouse/logistics metrics.
Identifies and leads projects that improve material flow and warehouse utilization.
Actively manage warehouse slot utilization and inventory accuracy.
Utilize supply chain/logistics tools and processes to make data-driven decisions.
Help to support the supply chain/logistic systems through understanding how changes in one system can impact another system. Take prompt and decisive action to support production plans.
Utilize Lean Six (6) Sigma, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning principles, and corporate Inventory strategies / tools, to promote supply chain optimization.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Minimum of one (1) year of combined experience in Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing (internships and/or coops qualify) in a private, public, government or military environment
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Operations Management, and/or Business Administration from an accredited university
Minimum of one (1) year of Supply Chain, Logistics, and/or Operations experience
Six Sigma Green Belt project experience and/or certification
Strong interpersonal and time management skills with a proven track record as a team player.
Experience in, or understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Corporate Supply Chain Planning Systems such as: SAP, Factory Planner, Supply Chain Planner, PeopleSoft, MES, USS, COMS, Business Objects, Microsoft Excel
Experience working on cross-functional teams
Ability to influence in a matrixed organization
Location: Aberdeen, SD
Travel: May include up to 10% (domestic and/or international)
Relocation: Is authorized
