This position will be able to place parts in specified relationship to each other. This position will have the ability to fasten parts together with bolts, clips, screws, and cement. This position will report to the Operations Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities:The duties and responsibilities of the Assembly Operator I will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:Will attend machines, such as air guns or crimping machine, to perform force fitting or fastening operationsThe ability to work at different work stations as production needs requireAssemble and package according to the bill of material or product structure to insure that all parts, installation instructions, etc. are included in the packageUp keep and maintenance of equipment assigned and personal equipment issued (tools, gloves, and aprons)Correct reporting of all parts produced on daily time card and on work orders issued for productionPerform other duties as assignedCompetencies:Customer FocusDecision QualityResults, Action OrientedDisplaying Technical ExpertiseTime ManagementRequirements:Work Experience: No experience is needed Education: High School Diploma Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessaryOrganization Skills: Maintain clean and organized work spaceCross-functional Skills: Ability to work and handle multiple job assignmentsCommunication Skills: Ability to communicate within a team settingPhysical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to walk, stand, sit, push, pull, reach above shoulders, fine repetitive motion, bend, stoop, climb ladder, ability to lift 40 pounds continuously for long periods of time up to 8 hours per dayPhysical Environment: Fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbout CURT Group:CURT Group a family of more than 900 associates world-wide.
