DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:The Human Resources Business Partner will be supporting the Brandon, SD manufacturing facility as the first line of support for all of their HR needs. This role will provide leadership and support in the areas of recruitment, employment, personnel records, employee relations, job evaluation, benefits administration, employee development, training, AAP/EEO and special projects. This HRBP will serve as a strategic and tactical business partner to the Plant leadership team and assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings.What we offer* Provide employee relations support for Plant.* Responsible for rolling out Human Resource programs and policies and working with Plant management to adhere to local and corporate policies and procedures.* Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; and maintaining records.* Coach Managers on effective and legal interviewing practices.* Conduct and analyze exit interviews and recommend changes as needed. Participate in and contribute to the Talent Management, Employee Development and Succession Review activities and planning process.* Manage compensation related issues including monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.* Identify opportunities to take proactive actions that resolve issues and maintain a positive and high morale work environment for all employees. * Coach employees and managers as needed to resolve conflict in a win-win manner.* Manage Temporary Employee requirements via 3rd party vendor. * Work with local management to promote and achieve high employee participation in internal/external Health and Wellness activities.* Support the administration of Workers Compensation and partner with SHE to coordinate strong and successful workplace safety program.* Conduct employee and leader training sessions related to Ethics, benefits, safety, or others as required.* Serve as change agent for the site.Henkel is an equal opportunity employer.
