JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welcome visitors, oversee sign-in process and answer incoming telephone calls.
Monitor all activities in the swimming pool and whirlpool.
Notify patrons of activity schedules and registration requirements.
Ensure participants follow rules and safety procedures.
Receive, store, and issue sports equipment and supplies.
Arrange chairs, tables, and sporting or exercise equipment in designated rooms or other areas for scheduled group activities.
Keep attendance records and monitor activities of children during recreational activities.
Perform outlined cleaning duties for the facility, including basic pool procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Post secondary, working toward degree in Exercise Science or related subjects, is preferred but not required.
Experience leading group fitness classes is preferred, but not required.
