Daktronics Service Sales Student in Brookings, South Dakota

Responsibilities

Every day, in nearly 100 countries around the world, millions of people depend on Daktronics scoring and display systems for information and entertainment. Our displays provide vital travel information in airports and train stations and along highways. They advertise the price of gas, store specials, and more as you make your daily commute. They also enhance spectators’ experiences at sporting events of all kinds, from Little League to the major leagues.

  • Accounts Receivable: Opportunity to work with a variety of customers and locations on open AR. Some daily tasks include:

  • Running reports

  • Sending emails

  • Verifying process and procedures and adapt when appropriate

  • Creating Credit Memos

  • Working in Systems: Glovia/InfoPath

  • Provide Quote Support by:

  • Uploading lines

  • Initiating Tax Requests

  • Initiating Legal Requests

  • Finalizing quotes

  • Changing status as the quote progresses

  • Working in Systems: Pipeline/Salesforce

  • Quoting Activities to include:

  • Visiconn to VCS

  • Win 10 update

  • Professional Services

  • LiveStats

  • System Health

  • Display Washing

  • System Check

  • On-Site Training

  • Working in Systems: Pipeline/Salesforce

  • Soft Skills:

  • Written & Oral. Will be drafting AR messages, communicating with Application Engineers and a variety of other team members.

  • Ability to Prioritize

  • Strong Communication

  • Individual Contributor: Can come in, work the queue/inbox, be motivated by completion of tasks, immediately move from one task to the next, mange time effectively.

  • Attention to Detail: Quoting & Accounts Receivable require accuracy and timeliness.

  • Adaptability: Able to work off a process, but adjust or seek insight when needed to keep moving a project forward.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Consumer Affairs or related degree, in their sophomore, junior or senior year of school.

  • Only strong academic performers will be considered.

  • Must maintain an acceptable GPA.

  • Unofficial transcripts or web transcripts must be submitted with application to be considered for this position.

  • Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment.

  • Good oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, self-motivation.

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

  • Professionalism in working with all internal and external customers.

  • Regularly and reliably work the scheduled hours.

  • Computer knowledge including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Internet, and email systems.

  • Excellent telephone skills.
