Manpower Group Mig and Stick Welder - Canton, SD in Canton, South Dakota

Do you have previous welding experience? Are you mechanically inclined? Manpower is looking for an experienced welder to join a great company located in the Canton, SD area.

The Job:

  1. Fabricating and welding from blue prints

  2. Using hand and power tools to fabricate various parts

  3. Comply with policies relating to safety, environment and health

  4. Other duties as assigned.

What you can bring to the table:

  1. Your ability to learn and develop, cross training in other places

  2. Your ability to work independently or as part of a team

  3. Your 2 or more years of experience Mig and stick welding and ability to pass a certification test.

  4. Your ability to read and use blue prints

  5. Your HS Diploma/GED

  6. Your ability to read a tape measure and operate basic hand tools

Physical Requirements of the Position

  • Standing or crouching for 8+ hours

  • Lifting to 50 pounds

  • Exposure to welding and factory environment

  • Repetitive motions
