Job Description

The Account Manager serves as the Project Manager to oversee action plans on new and existing clients. The Account Managers serves as the liaison between Clients, Allied Field Staff, and Operations to ensure the client receives best in class service. The Account Manager manages client relationships through the client life cycle. Job Duties and Responsibilities:20% Proactively own and manage multiple high-visibility and high profile client and field relationships during implementations and throughout client life cycle with the utmost professionalism in order to establish and meet client expectations by protecting Allied’s brand, and for increased client satisfaction

20% Lead action plans using project management methodology in order to service within the established service level expectations, which ultimately leads to client satisfaction and cost benefits to Allied

15% Understand, prioritize and drive resolution of issues through hands-on involvement and highly effective communication between responsible parties for the purpose of holding self and others accountable, and to drive timely resolution

15% Prepares, distributes, provides regular status updates to client and appropriate departments in written and verbal form, and maintains all project documentation using project management methodology to ensure all relevant items are communicated and documented for historical reporting measures

15% Collaborate with departments such as: New Account Implementation, Insurance Applications, Insurance System Solutions, LSPD Communications, Information Technology, Client Product & Financial Management, and Lender Administration to ensure the Action Plan aligns with the procedures to meet the needs of the account and Allied

5% Recognize and resolve systemic issues to prevent them from repeating.

5% Travel as needed

5% Other duties as assignedQualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications &KSA):

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field with three (3) or more years of related work experience in client relations, issue resolution, and/or project management

OR, five (5) years of related work experience if no degree or CPI experience, or equivalent experience required

  • Ability to manage multiple highly visible projects

  • Proven ability to create and drive strategies to prevent and resolve client issues

  • Perform root cause analysis and remediation

  • Ability to stay calm during times of crisis

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients, management, and peers

  • Effective cross-department communication

  • Professionally document and communicate problem/resolution and information/action plans

  • Strict attention to detail and strong communication skills

  • Proven effectiveness in presenting materials to employees, clients, and sales/service

  • Adaptable to change and has ability to make independent decisions

  • Ability to handle confidential information in a responsible manner

  • Sound decision making and critical thinking skills

  • Expert organization, time management, and prioritization skills
