VectorCSP Security Lead, (AFGSC) in Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota

VectorCSP is looking for an experienced Security Lead to work at Ellsworth AFB, Rapid City, SD. Job Summary: Provide security support to bed-down management activities to Major Command and Installation-level organizations in support of the B-21 bomber, MH-139 helicopter and Ground Based Strategic Deterrence Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) and other new weapons systems. Requirements: *Top Secret Clearance Education and Experience: *Shall have a minimum of five (5) years' experience of US Government security experience. *MAJCOM or higher level experience highly desired. Essential Duties: *Plans, organizes, and oversees all security activities needed to ensure successful Program Integration Office (PIO) actions. *Formulates security program goals, plans, policies, and procedures related to the development and construction of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Access Program (SAP), and Information Protection (IP) facilities, functions and activities; provides direction and guidance to leadership and subordinates. *Implements DoD, USAF, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and MAJCOM policies and directives for the construction, protection, and operation of all classified facilities. Sets and adjusts short and/or long-term priorities. *Establishes metric and analysis systems to assess efficiency and effectiveness. *Evaluates requirements for additional resources and balances organization needs with overall mission requirements and resource interests. *Identifies need for change in organizational priorities and takes action to implement such changes. Establishes review systems for the program that ensure security needs and requirements are met and validated, and that economy and quality of operations are maintained or improved. *Prepares, implements and administers security requirements in close cooperation with the GSSO, SSO and IP office on their respective facilities Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: *Knowledge and understanding of national, DoD, and U.S. Air Force statutory and regulatory policies, directives, and procedures relating to logistics and operations activities. *Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, conduct analysis, devise recommended solutions, and package the entire process in briefings, papers, or reports suitable for executive use and decision-making. *Skill in oral communications necessary to inform the leadership of program changes, to make presentations to management of a complex nature, and to lead and serve effectively on process teams. *Skill in written communications to allow effective articulation of assigned tasks and publication of new and updated products. *Experience navigating Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router and Secure Internet Protocol Router type IT systems. *Must be able to work in a team environment and independently with limited supervision all while developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
