Hot Springs Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Administrative Assistant in HOT SPRINGS, South Dakota

We are seeking a detail oriented individual with a positive attitude and strong organizational skills for the position of Executive Assistant.The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure, enjoy working with people and have good computer skills. Must have a good knowledge of Hot Springs, South Dakota and the surrounding Black Hills. There is aiwide variety of duties to be performed and there is interaction with community members and visitors to the area.The Executive Assistant Position duties include but are not limited to:Assisting the Executive Director. Assisting with projects, correspondence, marketing, and events. Promoting membership and maintaining membership records. Promoting member businesses and the town of Hot Springs. Distributing/gathering information from members. Assisting with advertising and marketing campaigns related to promoting Hot Springs. Attending all committee meetings, sending meeting reminders and taking and distributing minutes and other relevant information to Board of Directors and committee members. Helping organize events, including planning, advertising, setting up and working events. Answering the phones,i replying to email inquiries and reception of visitors to the office. Assisting visitors or callers with inquiries about local businesses and tourism information. Handling of incoming and outgoing mail as well as mailing out visitor information and relocation information as requested. Assisting with newsletters. Assisting with Accounts receivable. Ordering office supplies and ensuring maintenance of office equipment. Maintaining records on visitor inquiries and statistics. Arranging accommodations, attraction tours and dining venues for visiting groups or individuals when necessary. Prepare packets for various groups who have conferences/events in town. Organizing and maintaining brochure rack and marketing materials. Interacting with the public with a supportive attitude, both at work and out in the community. Assisting with Social Media and other various tasks as needed.Qualifications:Previous experience as an executive secretary, administrative assistant, Office Manager or other related fields. Strong organizational skills. Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Strong attention to detail. Works well with people. Works well under pressure. Experience working with Board of Directors and/or Committees Knowledge of Hot Springs, South Dakota and Black Hills Area.
