Avera Marshall Nurse Practitioner [CL] in Lake Andes, South Dakota
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; 48hrs/2wks
Provide direct patient care in the clinic.

Provides timely, continuous assessment of patient capturing complete, detailed and accurate age appropriate history. Records/documents pertinent information in the electronic medical record.
Interpret data and diagnostic results for appropriate course of action including but not limited to routine lab testing/procedures, radiology, therapy, or referral. Prescribes medication, instructs emergency measures and treatment and health maintenance.
Educates patients/families on their plan of care. Conducts follow up phone calls to primary care physicians /referral physicians as needed.
Identifies, researches and communicates information to resolve patient, family concerns.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of PA/C.N.P program accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (AAHEP), Registration by the South Dakota State Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners, Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants(NCCAA). Registration with the South Dakota Board of Nursing and current state license.
Previous experience preferred.
