It all starts with YOU!Position Overview: To lead in building and trouble-shooting automated machines, sub-assemblies and electrical components. As a Maintenance Lead, you will be the point of contact for additional team members. You must be able to act proactively to ensure seamless operations and effective collaboration. An effective Lead will plan, organize and recommend strategies for improvement. Repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments: Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.Responsibilities include but not limited to:iInspect parts and machines with precision and measuring toolsiUnderstand and follow all department SOPis (Site Operating Procedures)iMaintain a safe work environment by following safety policies and conducting inspectionsiOversee production records and verify all documentation is completed correctly and timelyiExtensive knowledge of Ammonia Refrigeration and other refrigeration systems.iAbility to work with Electrical & instrumentation systems.iAbility to read and understand mechanical/electrical drawings.iStrong computer skillsiAbility to work independently with minimum supervision.iAbility to work in a safe manner and use lock out/tag out procedures when requirediResponding to calls and addressing problemsiAble to troubleshoot and maintain production and other plant machinery including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.iPerform all responsibilities in compliance with safety, sanitation, quality and housekeeping rules. Perform machine and equipment line changeovers for different bottles, packaging, and liquid. Perform equipment maintenance and preventative tasks as assigned. Perform equipment lubrication and inspection routines as assigned.i Knowledgeable in electronic devices and able to program variable frequency drives (VFD) Understand and experienced in use of control logic and capable of troubleshooting PLCis, Capable of writing minor PLC code Understand and capable of troubleshooting power transmission system such as motors, gear boxes, bearings, belts, shafts, belts, ii Ability to learn and have working knowledge of SAP. This includes writing and closing out work orders and PMis in the system.
