RED'S ALL NATURAL Quality Assurance Technician in NORTH SIOUX CITY, South Dakota
Position is responsible for assisting with the food safety and quality programs within the plant. This role has the overall accountability of ensuring the applicable food safety and quality programs are fully implemented and documented to ensure USDA regulatory compliance and the production of safe and wholesome products. Applies all QA/FS policies and procedures in daily interactions with plant production and quality employees.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Acts as a leader and promotes all food safety programs including HACCP and all pre-requisite programs. Ensures all employees in the facility are properly educated communicates with supervisors and leads regarding Quality issuesReviews paperwork to ensure all product meets company, customer and USDA packaging and labeling requirements. Reviews and files all QC, HACCP and BRC paperwork to ensure CCP limits were met and any deviations were handled properly. Complete necessary daily paperwork accurately and legibly.Performs pre-operational inspection of equipment.Performs audits and checks of product and processes.Detail line inspection for adherence to allergen management program.Collect and test production samples for compliance to analytical, physical, and organoleptic specifications.Audit metal detection and weight control equipment.Record production finished goods.Place non-conforming product on Hold and process paperworkCommunicate effectively with other production employees, warehouse team, USDA Inspectors and administration staff.Maintains a clean and organized work area. Cleans throughout the day.Perform duties at the direction of supervisor including any special projects or other assignments as needed by manager/supervisor.
