The highly trained staff at Our Company isilooking to add to our team as we continue to grow.Reports to:Project ManageriJOB DESCRIPTIONOur Comapany has secured a 3-4 month duct cleaning project at the Fort Randall facility in South Dakota. We are actively recruiting duct cleaning technicians for this project, as well as our other nationwide projects. Our technicians are very detailed oriented and understand the importance of the mold / indoor air quality industry standards (IICRC, NORMI, NADCA, or ACAC). We service both commercial and residential clients and as a technician you will be working with a small group (2-5) to accurately complete the work plan. Our technicians can properly set up containment barriers, utilize HVAC duct cleaning equipment, and dedicate themselves to professionalism.Essential Functions:Focused on SAFETY at all timesAbility to stay away from "home" for long periods of timeAbility to understand and follow directionsOrganized, hardworking and motivatedStrong team player with positive attitudeWork off ladders and with mechanical equipment as neededOperate hand tools and power toolsLift 50+ lbs.Excellent communication skills verbally and in written formKEY ACTIVITIESWork with a small on-site teamBuild containment barriers to reduce the risk of cross-contaminationSet-up HEPA rated negative air machines / suction devicesFollow work plan to properly remove mold impacted materialsUse HEPA vacuumsNormal working hours 7am 3:30 pm; potential to work nights/weekendsHard working and motivatedPOSITION TYPEThis is an hourly nonexempt position.TRAVELTravel primarily within, but NOT limited to, New England job site locationEDUCATION and EXPERIENCEAble to pass a military grade background checks requiredOSHA 10 or higher construction training preferredValid driver's license requiredAbility to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. regularly is requiredPassing of pre-employment post-offer physical requiredAble to work outside during all seasons and weather is requiredLead Paint experience or RRP Certification is a plusWORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDSHand and Foot Coordination: You need to be able to coordinate movements of your hands and feet in order oversee project.Coordination: On busy construction sites, you must be able to coordinate your actions with those of other workers.Critical Thinking: Your job will require you to identify the strengths and weaknesses of solutions to problems in order to choose the one that is most likely to be successful with minimal supervision.Ability to Work under Pressure: Must be able to manage and handle emergency situations, work pressure and stressAttendance: must be able to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner; regular and prompt attendance are an essential job functionWorking Conditions: ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution and toxic atmospheresPPE: Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA-required medical surveillance programs as necessaryHeights: Ability to work at heightsLifting: Able to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. regularly, 100 pounds occasionallyThe employee frequently is required to stand, walk and talk or hear.The employee is regularly required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell.Vision: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.iReasonable accommodations are made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsApplicants
