Role Summary/Purpose

The Resource Operations Manager will work closely with the Resource Operations Director, Service Directors, and Service Managers to standardize operational processes and meet compliance requirements by establishing and maintaining operating rhythms across all segments, projects and customers. The Region Operations Manager will conduct data analysis to support changes in execution procedures. This position will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. The Region Operations Manager will also integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, and contribute to long term business planning and the overall business strategy.

Essential Function

  • Partner with the Resource Operations Director, Service Directors, and Service Managers to standardize operational processes and meet compliance requirements by establishing and maintaining operating rhythms across all segments, projects and customers

  • Deliver process capability improvement by producing designs and implementing resource optimization methods which reduce defects and attain world-class levels of quality

  • Lead the local resource management team to optimize field resources and provide new solutions to ensure proper planning and timely delivery

  • Contribute to long term business planning and overall business strategy by recommending improvements which will further optimize resources

  • Collect and analyze operations data and compare performance to established metrics relative to financial expectations, outage excellence resource utilization, and localization

  • Establish, maintain and report operations dashboards to Resource Operations Director and HQ

  • Support the Resource Operations Director with daily operations and business management, including operations reviews, financial tracking and projections

  • Work closely with Resource Operations Director, Service Directors, and Service Managers to investigate, analyze and resolve segment issues in a timely manner

  • Work with the leadership team to create an operational budget plan

  • Participate in recruitment and hiring activities by working with the recruitment team to actively fill positions needed for operational success

  • Partner with Resource Managers and Employee Owners to establish and implement training programs and career development plans to meet the developmental needs of all skillsets in the region

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 10+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge

  • 5+ years managing and developing employees

  • 4+ years of specialized/industry experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or Engineering or equivalent years field engineering experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree

  • Must have held prior leadership positions within the power generation industry with a minimum of five years combined field, project management and leadership experience
