Job Highlights:
A paid summer internship alongside a nurse mentor providing direct patient care and reflective practice sessions.
Job Duties:
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse mentor, is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide nursing care for the patient.
Must be able to perform basic operations on a computer within the Windows operating system and within the electronic medical record.
This position requires problem solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to multitask.
Education and Training:
High school diploma or GED required.
Currently enrolled and have completed all but the final 1 or 2 semesters of a nationally accredited Registered Nurse program.
