The Project Manager will own the project management and implementation process for GEHC Life Care Solutions (Diagnostic Cardiology OR Monitoring Solutions, Perioperative, and Maternal Infant Care) products, including but not limited to sales order review; project planning and documentation, resource coordination, and issues resolution. This role will require travel throughout the Southeast.
The LCS Project Manager is responsible for driving customer satisfaction and process productivity throughout the installation process including:
Acting as the primary liaison between GE and the customer project teams
Execute the implementation of managed projects including:
Identification of GE and customer responsibilities and deliverables as defined in the sales contract
Coordination of GE and contract resources in the execution of GE responsibilities
Creation of project implementation timeline with collaboration between customer, GE, and contract resources
Regular tracking and communication of implementation progress
Tracking of equipment delivery, installation, and testing
Tracking and assignment of project deliverables with owners and timing for completion
Provide regular communications including project kick-off, regular status updates, and project closure including occasional customer site visits
Lead implementation team during clinical “GoLive” of the equipment
Creation, maintenance and routing of formal project documentation to project teams and key stakeholders, within a timely manner.
Maintaining accurate project milestone date accuracy creating visible and predictable data for key business metrics and revenue forecasting
Identification, escalation and resolution of issues, which might affect customer satisfaction and GE operational targets
Participation in process improvement initiatives
Bachelors or equivalent technical field experience; or equivalent (defined as High School Diploma/GED and 4 years progressive experience in a technical field or project management.)
3 years experience in cross-functional product development / integration, product support, or project management.
Ability to work effectively across functions to deliver results and execute multiple commitments within the Global Environment.
Multitasking abilities to drive critical issues simultaneously.
Resourcefulness, commitment, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Position may be located out of Atlanta, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Tampa, or Orlando
Bachelors degree and 2 years of project management experience, or an Associates degree and 5+ years of Project Management experience
Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationMinimum 2 years of experience leading cross-functional teams
Self-Starter, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal direction in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work managing multiple projects requiring quick identification and prioritization of issues to create solution and meet scheduled completion dates and customer expectations.
Knowledge/experience within the healthcare industry and GEHC products
Demonstrated experience with large-scale project management where deadlines were met on or ahead of schedule; construction, healthcare IT or equipment installations experience
Ability to work with and communicate with diverse work partners internal and external to GE and our customers.
Ability to communicate complex technical issues in a customer-friendly manner
Demonstrated customer service experience working in a clinical environment
Ability to provide constructive feedback to installation teams and contractorsSix Sigma certification and/or experience in Lean methodology
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office Applications and project Management Software such as MS Project
Ability to work effectively from a remote home office location
Willingness to travel including overnight stays when necessary.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must have a valid driver’s license
