We have an exciting new role, created for our Global Business Services division, due to growth. We are looking for a passionate manager, to act as our Senior Manager, Workplace Technology Standards & Compliance, GBS (18-21501).
This position can be located in any of our Wolters Kluwer Hubs, and will accommodate telecommute (for the right candidate and with manager approvals) as long as the work from home location is close to the hub, and in office activity can take place!
This role is part of the global Workplace Technology team providing workplace services to a global userbase of 25.000+ colleagues.
The individual in this role will be responsible for defining and driving standards related to Workplace Technology processes, tools and procedures. He/she will also drive the adoption of Workplace Technology device & O365 collaboration policies & standards across all geographies.
Lead and assist in development, deployment and enhancement of tools critical to the Workplace Technology -- hardware and software inventory, ITAM, password reset, Rainier etc.
Deploy Rainier globally in partnership with the operations teams employing use of consistent processes & procedures, business and technical services etc.
Define Workplace Technology policies in partnership with EUC technology, operations and GBS security functions.
Support development of device and image standards.
Drive compliance with Workplace Technology policies and device & image standards.
Report Workplace Technology operational and compliance metrics.
Manage and report O365 license usage
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
7+ years of related experience or equivalent with a preference for managers who have a technology background
Strong preference for leaders who have implemented Microsoft 0365
Strong preference for leaders who have used workplace technology including incident response and ticketing technology
In-depth understanding of Workplace Technology tools, processes & procedures
Ability to communicate effectively in formal & informal settings
Ability to work with other members of the Workplace Technology Tower, GBS IT and business.
Ability to analyze data and derive reasonable inferences
- 25% travel domestic or international
