JOB SUMMARY: The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) is an advanced position that involves a balance of clinical patient contact, research study coordination, and management of study data. This individual must have the ability to organize complex components of various research protocols, including coordination of study required testing and procedures. This position requires close collaboration with the study team to ensure safe and compliant research procedures and follow-up per the established research protocol. Critical thinking, self-motivation and direction, as well as autonomy are critical to the daily tasks that are carried out in partnership with the study investigators and other members of the research team. This position is an opportunity to learn daily and contribute to research of the future. Enthusiasm for learning is required as is participation in informing participants, physicians, nurses, and other personnel to the research process. This position will work directly with research participants, including children.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university within the health and science field required
Two or more years of research and/or child development/assessment experience preferred
Six months to one year of experience interacting with children in a professional setting preferred
