DescriptionAn hourly employee who at the direction of the Foreman or Supervisor isresponsible for operating a variety of mobile equipment in support ofproduction and sales activities. Mobile Equipment Operators perform plantclean-up, general labor and back-up support to other team members as needed. Operates mobile machinery and equipment used to drill, blast,crush, screen and load hard rock, sand and gravel, and move other rawmaterials as needed. Responsibilities include the movement of materials, both raw andfinished products, the performance of basic preventive maintenance and minorrepairs on equipment, and working with others on daily goals for production. Ability to operate equipment safely, efficiently, and effectively. Performs work to further supervisory objectives, managementstrategies, and company programs as assigned to the operational or technicalar Recommends and upchannels suggested improvements to work efforts and tasks. Executes day-to-day activities and tasks while adhering to safetypolicies, practices and SOPs and assuring quality and quantity of productionor service. Guides employees' work to assure quality and quantity of production. Reports issues and ideas generated during that shift to immediatesupervisor in a timely manner, with safety concerns being the highestpriority both in urgency and importance. Responsible for adherence to rules and completion of assigned tasks. Responsible for taking and/or reporting corrective action neededand/or variances, both from a productivity and safety aspect. Adheres to company policy and practices. Attend work regularly, punctually, and with preparedness includingappropriate attire and PPE each shift start. Exhibits appropriate communication, as the receiver and deliverer,to coworkers, support teams, visitors, and supervisory team. Maintains a positive attitude and be willing to perform all functionsassigned either individually or through teamwork with a willingness to acceptchanges or make adjustments to plans. Displays loyalty, honesty, trustworthiness and dependability. Deals appropriately with diversity and does not engage in harassment ofany kind. Starts working without being told and tries to solve problem whenappropriate.
