Hey Rapid City, let’s get physical! Edgewood’s senior living community is looking for a Physical Therapist , to help our residents get physical, wherever they call home! The perfect candidate will serve as an integral part of the CaringEdge team, the health services division of Edgewood Healthcare.
We’re looking for someone equally as dedicated to the delivery of effective, evidenced-based clinical practice with a focus on geriatric care provided through the outpatient therapy platform. Our teams are passionate about helping area seniors maintain and improve their physical abilities, while fostering independence and confidence throughout their golden years.

Develop a written plan of care specific to each patient and implements therapy services based on that plan of care.
Initiates physical therapy program and instructs other personnel in certain phases of physical therapy with which they may work with a patient, as well as instructing them as to the goals of the physical therapy program for the patient by participating in case conferences.
Prepares and submits clinical and progress summaries based on the attainment of goals.
Participates in peer consultation process.
Supervises physical therapy assistants according to organization policy and state regulations.
You would be a great addition to our team if you possess the following:
Possesses a Masters or Doctorate in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization.
Licensed to practice as physical therapist within the state.
Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
Compassionate with good communication skills
Excellent teamwork skills
