Indian Health Service Lead Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist in Rosebud, South Dakota

Summary

This position is located in the Radiology Department at the PHS Indian Health Service Hospital, Rosebud, SD, a 35 bed hospital and outpatient facility, serving a patient population of over 15,600, providing a range of health services. Inpatient and outpatient services are supported by a 24 hour radiology department. Position is subjected to on-call/call back status.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. BASIC REQUIREMENT(S);

https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0600/diagnostic-radiologic-technologist-series-0647/ AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Manages day to day systems operations both centralized and peripheral equipment; assures that work assignments of the department employees are carried out; responsible for performing mammography imaging; maintains accurate and complete records ensuring that the required imaging data entry is performed GS-9: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least next lower grade level. AND

SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR: Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiology and mammography and computed tomography. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
