Qualifications:

Responsibilities

  • Network with potential partners to build and develop business

  • Assist with prospect management and project coordination

  • Partner with relationship managers to evolve individualized client relationship management plan

  • Perform financial statement analysis, economic/market analysis, risk profile analysis, and industry/sector analysis

  • Assess working capital metrics and equipment leasing

  • Support commercial banking sales process, underwriting, and credit process management

  • Assist with loan structuring and loan presentation processes

  • Build collaborative relationships with other U.S. Bank employees

  • Perform other associated duties as requested

Skills & Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Master’s level degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field

  • Experience working with financial statements, budgeting, and/or outside sales in a professional setting (2 years)

  • Knowledge of accounting, finance, and economics (CPA or CTP preferred)

  • Basic understanding of investments and marketing

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to think and work independently with a professional demeanor and receive dynamic on-the-job training

  • Highly organized and able to manage/prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

  • Indisputable work ethic with a hands-on approach defined by a strong intellect, professional charisma, leadership skills, resiliency, and a track record of proven results

  • Competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Preferred experience or interest in commercial banking
