U.S. Bank Data Migration Manager in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Manage and supervise a team (2-3 exempt specialists) responsible for short term; call tracking databases system changes, ie external vendor migrations tasks. Long term; this manager will then manage the team as it performs maintenance updates, report building and data mining.
Accomplish results through the effective management of staff that may range from lower level non-exempt through exempt level professionals. Administer corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Participate in the review and recommendation of operational systems and procedures affecting assigned units, coordinating system conversions from an operations perspective.
Qualified candidates, may be able to work remotely (home based) for this role.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Eight to ten years of operations experience in the financial services or other mass data records industries
Four or more years of supervisory/management experience
At least four years of experience overseeing data migration projects for a corporate organization
Considerable knowledge of data base operation functions, configuration, migration and maintenance systems, policies and procedures
In-depth understanding and practical application of applicable laws and regulations
Excel at trouble shooting and problem solving scenarios
Excellent organizational, managerial and project management skills
Well-developed customer relations skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
Thorough knowledge of banking operations and human resources
