What you can expect as a Group Billing and Premium Specialist:
This Person provides professional, accurate, timely and accountable customer service in the Life and Annuity Premium Department. Perform premium functions for both Life and Annuity products and contracts by being able to utilize, navigate and understand multiple computer system while maintaining high quality work. Responsible for various functions associated with the Premium Department, which includes but is not limited to: Applying Premium Payments for both Individual and Group Premium, setting up Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Deposits and Issuing Premium Refunds.
What we are looking for:
- 2-4 years relevant work experience in the insurance industry preferred
Background in life insurance/annuity processing preferred
Ability to adapt to frequent change
Ability to exercise good judgment while utilizing critical thinking
Exceptional time management skills
Above average 10 key and typing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of accuracy
Proficient working with Microsoft Office
Self-motivated; ability to work independently and efficiently
