Elior North America HR Coordinator in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

The Human Resources Coordinator will provide comprehensive support across all Human Resources functions, with the goal of fostering a healthy, efficient and positive workplace by ensuring that all HR processes/procedures are always executed seamlessly. The HR Coordinator will provide level 1 employee relations and HR support for operations field leaders. Responsible for managing projects, programs and initiatives and implementing plans designed by senior management related to Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning and Employment, Employee Development, Rewards and Recognition, Employee/Labor Relations and Risk Management. Additional HR components will include analyzing data and reporting finding and trends. This position will provide balanced support to operational field leaders as well as corporate business partners.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Conduct initial investigations of level 1 Employee Relations issues and HR based transactional issues.

  • Seek ways to improve HR process, transactions and outcomes

  • Field issues from Field Operations and facilitating resolution with senior management guidance when needed.

  • Analyze data and reporting findings and trends.

  • Employee maintenance administration using the PSCR system.

  • Organizational Charts Maintenance

  • File management - creation of new files, audit, file paperwork, etc. * Audit and create new EE files * Defined process for filing: Personnel, Confidential and Termed files * What do we need to do with I9's - current and old

  • Union reporting and payment processing

  • Serving as point person on projects and tasks

  • Minimum Wage Increase support

  • Wage Audit Requests from field

  • Performance Review Support - both Exempt and Non-Exempt

  • Data requests i.e. reporting relationships report, Business Development requests

  • Manage organization of HR Drives

  • Assisting with administrative SOPs

  • Market Salary Survey generation

  • Worker’s comp claim information requests

  • Employee recognition/events administration


  • BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.

  • Ability to understand, interpret and apply Elior human resources policies and Prepbook

  • Ability to communicate effectively both in verbal and writing

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

  • Ability to develop and present training programs and/or workshops

  • Investigate, analyze information and draw conclusions

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4- year degree preferred

  • Minimal travel may be required.
