Our Consumer Credit Solutions (CCS) Collections and Servicing team works with past-due customers to offer solutions for bringing credit card, student loan, personal line and loan, direct auto, retail services and deposit accounts up-to-date. The group also provides customer service for student loan and retail services accounts and works with customers to resolve disputed charges on credit card accounts.

The Loan Adjustor 1 will be part of a team that helps customers who are struggling to make payments on their Student Loans. The team members will be responsible for reviewing and adjusting Student Loan accounts which require special handling or analysis so they can help the customer succeed financially.

Functions may include:

  • Gathering and analyzing income documents

  • Analyzing credit/account information

  • Handling workout and restructuring of problem loans

  • Offering forbearance options to customer with short-term problems

  • Correspondence with customers

  • Monitoring adherence to terms of agreement

Team member schedules will vary within business hours of operation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer contact, customer service, collections, loan workout, sales, or financial services

Desired Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
