Fiserv Manager, Human Resources in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Position Description


In this role, you will provide innovative HR business partner solutions to the Technology and Operations function for a Business Unit and be the HRBP for the matrixed leadership team of Precision – a fast growing business line based in Sioux Falls, SD. You will partner with associates and leaders at all levels of the organization, utilizing HR domain expertise, analytical skills, change leadership, influence and effective communication to drive business results. This role reports to the Director, Human Resources, Bank Solutions Technology & Operations.

  • Partner with senior leaders, managers and front line supervisors in a matrixed environment, to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities.

  • Drive leader-led ownership of performance and talent management, associate engagement and individual development.

  • Initiate workforce analysis and organization design activities with business leaders to ensure structure and staffing are proactively managed to meet short and long term business goals and desired retention is achieved.

  • Ensure change management activities within the business that have associate impact are managed in a timely, professional, and lawful manner and that communications regarding change are clear, concise and consistent.

  • Ensure core HR processes (e.g., performance, talent reviews, compensation, recruiting, etc.) are clearly communicated and understood by managers and associates within assigned client groups.

  • Recommend process improvements or changes that will enhance the effectiveness and/or efficiency of operations.

  • Build relationships with HR centers of excellence and other HR Business Partners to create learning opportunities and share best practices.

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field, required.

  • Job Related Experience:

  • 5+ years of progressive HR responsibility and experience

  • HR Business Partnering experience for a revenue-generating organization (preferred)

  • Experience:

  • Experience working with the technology sector where development is a key component of the service profit chain.

  • Demonstrated track-record of helping Mangers identify and recruit talent that has contributed to growing the business or firm.

  • A history of personally influencing behavioral and philosophical change among business leaders.

  • Able to leverage internal subject matter experts to scale execution but also able to personally develop practical tactical tools and templates when the need arises.

  • Seen as a trustworthy source of advice and counsel with experience coaching leaders.

  • Experience and confidence to take ownership for the full impact of human resources delivery.

  • Successfully builds strong working relationships from a geographical distance.

  • Broadly skilled in a variety of human resource disciplines with a vertical specialization and a track record of applying insight to improve business results.

  • An ability and confidence to process high volume of work while maintaining an eye for the detail required that eliminates rework.

  • Experience in hiring talent, building succession pipelines, assessing and (re)designing org structures, coaching on performance management, and working with Managers to identify develop opportunities for their talent

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, tight deadlines, multiple priorities, and demanding environments. Thrives in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment.

  • Willingness and ability to relocate for career progression.

  • Strong financial understanding – including P&L

Connect HR strategies aligned to the needs of the end customer and market demands. Use business knowledge and analytics to design and implement HR and org strategies.
