JOB SUMMARY: Performs diversified administrative assistant duties, maintains the outreach and in-house patient schedule, maintains records and documents as required by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, retention and organization of documentation/data, and follow-up functions for Nuclear Medicine, responsible for billing outreach sites. Performs basic and complex in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures for inpatients. Transports radioactive doses to outreach sites in accordance with DOT and NRC guidelines.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:
Successful completion of a formal Nuclear Medicine Technology training program required.
Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required.
