Avera Marshall Payroll Systems Analyst in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
SUMMARY: The Payroll Systems Analyst is responsible for but not limited to maintaining a working knowledge of pay practices, policies, contracts and procedures. Analyze and perform testing that ensures system accuracy and compliance with internal policies as well as state and federal regulations. Responsible for the creation and facilitating of training for end users including payroll team members, leaders and employees. Primary backup for the Payroll System Administrator for the payroll applications.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
One or more years working with an electronic processing system.
One or more years working in application administration preferred.
Two to three years of Payroll, IT, or related experience is required.
Knowledge of federal and state payroll, wage and hour laws preferred.
Experience processing payroll with multi-state taxes preferred.
