**This position is eligible for a $300 signing bonus that will be paid out as $150 after 3 months of employment and $150 after 6 months of employment with the company**Cambridge Management, Inc. specializes in the management of quality affordable housing communities. The primary responsibilities of the Porter involve the upkeep of each apartment and common area in order to enhance and maintain the community's appeal.iThe Porter will also assist the rest of the staff, as directed, in their efforts to manage the Community in an efficient manner.ResponsibilitiesClean the office, clubroom, and restrooms on a daily basis.Clean and maintain models on a daily basis.Keep all vacancies fresh and ready for showings.Clean and maintain laundry facilities and all common areas dailyInform supervisor of any damage or repair required on perimeter or in common areas of CommunityAssists with "make-ready" duties when requested.Helps clean and maintain storage areas.Completes minor and routine service requestsDistributes resident communications to residents; e.g., upcoming events, pest control notices, newsletters.Performs work area clean up and safety related duties.Common areas that are routinely cleaned include:Mail rooms.Dumpster areas.Recreation areas.WalkwaysParking lots and drives.iRequirementsiiSkills and AbilitiesAbility to manage multiple high priorities at onceFlexible demeanor and positive attitudeAbility to work evenings, overtime, holidays and weekends, as neededMust be thorough, reliable, responsible, honest, organized, flexible and service-orientedRequired Education and ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalentMinimum one (1) year experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent field.
