U.S. Bank Senior Portfolio Credit Manager in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

The Senior Portfolio Manager focuses on review of credit underwriting of prospects and/or exiting client relationships and actively leads and participates in credit approval discussions. Ensures credits adhere to existing policies and regulatory credit specifications. The Senior Portfolio Manager works in a team setting with portfolio managers and relationship mangers. Candidates should have exceptional credit, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of experience in credit administration activities

  • Four or more years of managerial experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Proven ability to analyze and underwrite commercial customers and credit products, particularly floorplan facilities

  • Well-developed ability to review underwriting documents and effectively provide meaningful feedback

  • Considerable knowledge of credit policies, credit analysis, procedures and philosophy

  • Demonstrated analytical and risk analysis skills

  • Advanced knowledge of organization, business practices, business philosophy, and ethics

  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills

  • Well-developed customer service/relations skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
