Great Western Bank Treasury Analyst II - ALM and Credit Analytics in Sioux Falls, South Dakota


General Description and Essential Functions

The Treasury Analyst II will provide support to the bank’s Treasury Analytics function. This position will be primarily responsible for providing support to the GWB Credit Analytics and Reporting, the Asset Liability and Liquidity Risk Management functions in addition to participating in Treasury Related Projects.

  • Support monthly and quarterly credit reporting and analytics

  • Support the Bank’s Credit Stress Testing Capability

  • Maintain model assumptions and documentation

  • Provide analytical insight into the Bank’s Allowance for Credit Losses process

  • Produce analytics and reports that enable Management to make decisions

  • Support the Bank’s Balance Sheet Forecasting, Asset Liability Management and Stress Testing processes

  • Support the Allowance for Credit Loss Team members as appropriate

  • Support Treasury Team members as appropriate


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in banking, finance, or related field

  • Experience with Loan and Credit reporting strongly preferred

  • Experience with Loan and Credit models preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and/or SQL and history of working with large data sets preferred
